Just Maybe..

We may have found our wedding venue! I took Ty to look at the Norton Building in Ruston today. He liked it too. I think that's where we will decide to have it. At this point, I hardly care anymore to be completely honest. I just want to reserve it and get on with our planning, ya know?
I really like that this place is in Ruston because well...I love Ruston. I go to college there, and it's just such an adorable little old Louisiana town. I love it.

So that's that.

On a non wedding related note...

I'm so excited Halloween is coming, because that gives me another excuse to bake cupcakes! I can't wait!

Day Off.

Today is Wednesday..Wednesday is my "day off". I put quotation marks there because it's rarely ever a true day off. Everything I need to get done that week has to get done in one day!

So today, I came home from school and got to searching for more wedding venues. I had been told about a place in Ruston called the Norton Building that was and outside/inside venue, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to go look. My mom and I went to Ruston to check it out, and I must say, it's a pretty neat place. It's not Austin's..but I think it's 2nd best. I'm taking Ty back there with me tomorrow (hopefully) to look at it again. If he's for it I'll put down a deposit while we're there...I can't handle losing a second venue.

Whyyy must I have an outside wedding? Something in me just won't let me not! It's just what I've always wanted!

So, pray this works out for us. I'm ready to move on with our plans.

New blog theme!

So it's been quite a while since I've posted on here, and I've narrowed down the reason why: the range of things of which i can post about is just too large and I can never decide!!

Therefore..
Behold!
My engagement blog!

And..
here we go!

As of right now, Ty and I are a little over 5 months away from being married, and let me just say..I'm seriously impatient!

The planning is stressing me out..it wouldn't be as bad if things would just work out. The venue I fell in love with got double booked, so we lost it. I cried my eyes out! So once we can find something we actually like... I imagine the rest won't be as hard..knock on wood.

I need more outside wedding venues in Northeast Louisiana...
more specifically, I'd like the wedding outside, but a reception area inside. And besides the previous venue i'd picked out, I don't know where that would be.

sighh....

Help me Jesus! :)
